{"id":3852,"date":"2022-07-13T17:57:05","date_gmt":"2022-07-13T15:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/villafisogni.com\/storia-villa-castiglioni-fisogni-tradate\/"},"modified":"2024-07-15T16:15:54","modified_gmt":"2024-07-15T14:15:54","slug":"history-villa-fisogni","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/villafisogni.com\/en\/history-villa-fisogni\/","title":{"rendered":"Our history"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section id=\"storia\" class=\"\">\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12 col-lg-8 mx-auto\">\n\t\t\t\t<h2><\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<p>Villa Fisogni was built <strong>in 1957<\/strong>, in the post-war years, by <strong>Federico Fisogni<\/strong>, retired <strong>Alpini colonel<\/strong>, and <strong>Elisabetta Barbiano di Belgioioso<\/strong>, noblewoman of Milan.<\/p>\n<p>It was precisely in a portion of the park of the historic Villa Belgioioso (at the time owned by Elisabetta&#8217;s family) that the couple, who were celebrating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.villacastiglionifisogni.com\/news\/avventuroso-viaggio-di-nozze-in-casa-fisogni\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">20 years of marriage<\/a>, wanted to build <strong>a lakefront house in which to spend their holidays on Lake Como<\/strong> with their family. In fact, the Fisognis had also spent <strong>part of the war<\/strong> in Moltrasio, alternating with their home in Palazzolo Milanese, near Milan.<\/p>\n<p>After an adventurous career, Federico Fisogni decided to dedicate himself to a more peaceful life, and the Villa was used for decades by the family as a summer and holiday residence. Over the years it was inhabited, among others, by <strong>Guido Fisogni<\/strong>, son of Federico and founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/museo-fisogni.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the famous Gas Station Museum<\/a> of Tradate (VA).<\/p>\n<p>From 2024 <strong>the apartments of the Villa are available for rent for exclusive holidays on the shores of Lake Como<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"row arms-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12 col-lg-4 order-lg-2\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"arms\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img
